Arrival & your stay

The Hotel Alpenfriede is situated at 2,090 metres above sea level in Hochsölden, right in the heart of the Sölden ski area in the Ötztal valley.
You can reach the Ötztal valley via the A12 Inntal motorway (Ötztal exit). Then follow the Ötztaler Straße for around 40 kilometres to Sölden.
Just before the end of the village, the Gletscherstraße branches off to the right towards Hochsölden. Follow this road to the hotel.
In winter, snow chains are compulsory on this road.

Your room will be available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival.
Subject to availability, an earlier check-in is happy to be arranged.

If you’d like to go skiing in the Sölden ski area on the day of arrival, you’re welcome to arrive in the morning.
We’ll take care of your luggage so you can head straight out onto the slopes.

Yes, late check-in after 6.00 pm is possible at any time.

Please let us know a little in advance. That way, we can check whether you’ll still be in time for dinner or whether we should prepare a cold platter for you.

We would ask you to vacate your room by 10.30 am on the day of departure.

If you are leaving very early, you can settle your bill the evening before by 9.30 pm.

Hotel & Facilities

Yes. Our ‘Tiroler Badl’ wellness area is open daily.

It includes:

  • Finnish Swiss stone pine sauna
  • Bio sauna
  • Steam bath
  • Infrared heat cabin
  • Relaxation room with a Tyrolean tiled stove
  • Terrace for cooling off, relaxing and sunbathing

 

The wellness area is open daily from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

Yes. For guests who’d like to keep active away from the slopes, there’s a small gym with a treadmill, a weight bench, a rowing machine and dumbbells.

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Hotel Alpenfriede.

You’ll find the strongest signal in the reception area.

Skiing & Location

Yes. The Hotel Alpenfriede is a genuine ski-in & ski-out hotel in Hochsölden.

From the ski storage room, you can access slope no. 19 directly, which leads to the Hochsölden-Rotkogel cable car. From there, you can reach the entire Sölden ski area.

Yes. Each room has its own heated ski locker in the ski room. From there, you can head straight out onto the slopes.

Cuisine

Meal times are:

Breakfast: 7.30 am – 10.00 am

Afternoon snack: 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm

Dinner: 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm

Our three-quarter board includes:

  • a generous breakfast buffet with fresh egg dishes
  • a varied afternoon ski snack
  • a 5-course set menu of your choice, including a salad buffet and a selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes made with regional produce, plus a selection of cheeses
Dogs & Families

Yes, dogs are welcome.

They are allowed in the café and the hotel bar in the afternoon and evening, but not in the dining room.

Cost: EUR 25 per day (excluding food).

Yes. We are happy to provide the following baby items:

  • Cot
  • Blankets and pillows
  • Nappy bin
  • Baby monitor

 

We do not offer a babysitting service or children’s entertainment.

Outdoor parking spaces: free of charge

No. There is no cash machine in Hochsölden. The nearest cash machine is at the Giggijochbahn in Sölden. Alternatively, we’d be happy to give you cash at reception for a fee.
