Your responsibilities

• Managing and organising our hotel bar
• Looking after our guests in the evening
• Preparing cocktails and classic drinks
• Providing professional drinks service
• Advising our guests
• Sales and advice on our wine list
• Active wine recommendations in the evening
• Wine sales
• Preparation and tidying up of the bar
• Monitoring and organising bar stock
• Collaboration with the restaurant and reception
• Supporting and guiding the bar team

What we expect from you

• Experience in the bar sector
• Good knowledge of drinks and spirits
• An enthusiasm for and interest in wine
• Ideally, experience in wine sales
• Good communication skills
• Sales aptitude
• A well-groomed and confident manner
• Ability to work independently
• Commitment and passion for the role
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility and a sense of responsibility
• respectful manners and good upbringing
• Good command of German and English

Your salary

The minimum salary for this role is € 2,800 net per month, plus holiday pay and a Christmas bonus, based on a 6-day week of 48 hours. Our offer is negotiable depending on your experience and qualifications.

Our bar is not a party venue. We are looking for someone who enjoys being a host, has a passion for wine and drinks, and can ensure our guests have a lovely, relaxed evening.
